There are 6 Whitewater rafting companies in Jackson. They all seem to have their own personalities, Mad River is the big corporate rafting company. I prefer a smaller family owned customer service oriented operation like Lewis & Clark. The owners are always around and they have kids, so I feel like they understand my concerns. They also have the smallest rafts. We've rafted a lot in Jackson over the years with different companies, since they all raft the same stretch of river it really matters more how good the guides are and how big the boats are.
